I haven’t seen the movie yet, I probably won’t either. Looks like a shit sandwich. Anyone that wants to convince me or type up a review, go ahead and i’ll post it. But I won’t go along with something just because corporate america is pushing it or because you 60’s babies say so. That’s 2 hours and a half of my time I can spend watching Fade to Black or something.

not only did i hear it had some badass action sequences, but the 2.5 star ratings i’m gettin are all good enough for me to go see that shit in theaters.
and, beastwars are so fucking lame. don’t even try to pull that shit. I know i’m no older than you, nation, and we received the same basic education from our televisions growing up. I was never a big fan of transformers, namely because i found it boring, but beastwars was clearly crap to me, even as a child.

Beast Wars was a lot better than the original Transformers. For one it had complex more mature storylines. It was also able to make fun of itself for being a toyline.
It started a little boring because of the limitations with CGI and the CGI is heavily dated now. The first season dosen’t look as good as the second and third. Otherwise it was a good cartoon. Maybe not as good as Batman the Animated series. Still it was probably one of the best 90’s cartoons in my opinion.
As for the movie it’s entertaining but you do have to turn off your brain a bit to like it. The fight scenes feel like they were made for someone with ADD. You can go two ways on the humor as either finding it dumb or funny. Otherwise it was entertaining enough to be worth watching. The designs used look a lot better in action then they do in pictures. Frenzy and Megatron made the movie for me. Prime actually felt like he exuded this heroic air that couldn’t be duplicated in real life. It was just surreal.
