This one of the sides of the American Gangster movie, album and Jay-Z that I like. When he talks about his nephews like they were his own children. My brother just told me he’s having a baby, so yeah… I guess I can relate now. Shit like this:

I guess the line about had he been a doctor that his nephews woulda done the same is the verse he’s speaking of in the interview. I would have expected a bit more though, considering all the emotions he says it evokes in the movie. But he did recently say something about his nephew following in his footsteps. That whole verse in Lost Ones is heart-breaking though.
